The private hospital of Fertilitas is the biggest private hospital in Estonia that opened its doors back on the 1st of November 1993. In 2000 the hospital earned the “Baby-Friendly Hospital” certificate from UNICEF. Since 2002 Fertilitas has been a member of WHO Health-Promoting Hospitals.

In March 2004 Fertilitas moved to Viimsi, where they opened a fully modernized treatment and diagnostic complex that comprises both an outpatient clinic and a stationary treatment department. They have a new surgery department with four operating rooms and a 30-bed active treatment department.

Today Fertilitas has a license in bariatrics, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, plastic surgery, and orthopedics; and besides this, they also offer day surgery services in general surgery and urology. Doctors have modern diagnostic apparatuses at their disposal, and all the necessary laboratory and visual diagnostic investigations are guaranteed to the patients via their contractual partners.

East-Tallinn Central Hospital is a people-centered hospital and a leader in modernizing Estonian healthcare. Their competence has been a positive influence on Estonian and other countries’ citizens’ health and on the availability of healthcare services.

There are 7 individual clinics at the heart of East Tallinn Central Hospital – Diagnostic Clinic, Clinic of Internal Medicine, Eye Clinic, Women’s Clinic, Surgery Clinic, Clinic of Medical Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Nursing Clinic. Clinics in turn include centers and departments which are focused on a specialty in a more strict meaning. Medical operation is supported by the administration and several services.
